Member of the Month
Sam, an Art and Design major and Communication minor, has been a member of MediaLab since Spring 2011. His MediaLab portfolio includes branding the 2012 Emmy–nominated MediaLab documentary, “Beyond Burkas & Bombers,” as well as creating
info–graphics for “Tapped Out: Unearthing the Global Water Crisis.” In addition to his MediaLab activities, Sam has designed for PLU’s School of Arts and Communication, The Grand Cinema of Tacoma, Cascade Regional Blood Services and the City of Tacoma. He is currently chair of the on–campus PLU Student Media Board, as well as Art Director for the on–campus, student–run advertising firm, Impact. Sam plans to pursue a career at a brand agency after graduation.
