The PLU Business Plan Competition. Have a great new business idea? Need resources for your emerging business? Please join us and compete in the PLU Business Plan Competition. The competition is for new, independent ventures in the idea, start-up, or early growth stages. Your new venture concept could win the grand prize!
The Grand Prize package is worth over $10,000. The winning team
or individual is awarded a $7,500 cash prize to launch their new venture, an exhibit table at the Tacoma Business Expo, and the opportunity to present their business plan as a special guest in the PLU MBA State Farm Executive Leadership Series. There are also awards for 2nd and 3rd place teams.
There is a guaranteed $2,500 prize to the top undergraduate team.
ELIGIBILITY: One or more members of each team, or individual contestant, must be a PLU graduate or current PLU student.
